Privacy policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This policy explains the information STFC Statistics collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process account details such as your name, email address, authentication provider, linked game account information, preferences, favourites, and session state.
The service may also process page-view and operational information, including requested paths, browser information, approximate location derived by infrastructure providers, security events, and rate-limit signals. These records are used to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
2. Authentication providers
STFC Statistics supports email and selected social sign-in providers. When you use one of them, the provider and the service may exchange the information required to authenticate your account. Review the applicable provider's privacy policy for its own processing.
3. Cookies and browser storage
The service uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, anonymous sessions, preferences, security controls, and interface state. Disabling these technologies may prevent some features from working correctly.
4. Feedback submissions
Feedback submissions may include the category, message, optional name, optional email address, and a link to a registered account when the sender is signed in. Anonymous submissions also include the verified client IP address for abuse prevention and investigation. Submissions are stored in the service database for administrator review and are normally retained for up to 365 days. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, or sensitive personal information.
5. How information is used
Information is used to provide site features, maintain accounts, personalize the experience, investigate abuse, understand usage, respond to feedback, and improve reliability and data quality.
6. Service providers
The platform may rely on hosting, database, cache, authentication, analytics, email, and infrastructure providers. These providers may process information on behalf of the service as needed to provide their functions.
7. Retention and deletion
Operational records are retained according to the administrator-managed retention policy. Feedback records are currently retained using a 365-day default window. Users may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
8. Contact
Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the feedback form on the feedback page.
